Listen: Sea Change – ‘Bridges’

Sea Change press1There must be something about the cold Norwegian winters that ignite inspiration in people. Maybe it’s the long nights, or maybe it’s just the mystical pull of the Northern Lights, but either way, Sea Change, the alter ego of Norwegian native Ellen.W. Sundes, has been steadily distilling all this etherial nature.

Following up on her previous two releases ‘Let’s Dance’ and ‘Bursting’, Sea Change has now produced ‘Bridges’, a track that continues to build on her gloriously sinister musical narrative. Oozing with turbulent low end and looped 80s style synths, ‘Bridges’ echos with the spirit of her home country, and is cut through with an upliftingly icy chill.  Taking on a sonic energy akin to the likes of The Knife and Austra, Sea Change has created the perfect soundtrack to your dreams… or your nightmares.
